Denoising strength

Strong removes the most noise but can distort voices

How it works

1

Drop your file

Any noisy video or audio file — it stays on your device.

2

Processed locally

A neural noise filter runs right in your browser via WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded.

3

Download clean audio

Preview the result side by side with the original and download it for free.

What the neural filter can fix

The remover runs RNNoise, a neural network trained specifically to separate human speech from steady background noise: air conditioning and fan hum, computer noise, keyboard clatter, traffic and street ambience, room echo's low-level hiss. It shines on voice recordings — meetings, interviews, voice-overs, lecture recordings — where the noise sits under the speech. It is not a music tool: complex backgrounds like a band or a crowd singing are beyond any real-time noise filter.

Video in, video out

Drop in a video and the cleaned audio is put back under the original picture — the video stream itself is copied untouched, so nothing is re-encoded and the visual quality stays identical. Three strength levels let you trade aggressiveness against naturalness; start with medium and go stronger only if noise still peeks through in quiet moments.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. The noise remover is completely free, with no signup, watermarks, or limits. We make money from our video translation service, not from this tool.

Do you upload my files?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device — you can even disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded.

What formats are supported?

Most common video formats (MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI...) and audio formats (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG...). For videos, the video track is kept untouched — only the audio is cleaned.

How does the noise removal work?

It uses RNNoise, a recurrent neural network trained to separate speech from background noise like hums, fans, keyboards, and street sounds.
