Privacy Policy

EasyDub is built to be privacy-first. This policy explains what data we do and don't collect. In plain terms: our free tools process your files entirely on your own device, and we only collect the small amount of information described below.

Your files stay on your device

All of the free tools on EasyDub (video converter, compressor, subtitle generator, background remover, and the rest) run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and on-device AI models. Your files are never uploaded to us, never stored on our servers, and never seen by us. Processing happens locally — you can disconnect from the internet once a tool has loaded and it will still work.

Information we collect

• Waitlist email. If you join our launch waitlist, we store the email address you provide so we can notify you when the video translation service is available.
• Account information. If you create an account for the (upcoming) video translation service, we store your email address and authentication credentials.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and protect against abuse.

The video translation service

When the AI video translation service launches, videos you choose to translate are uploaded to secure cloud storage and processed solely to produce your translated result. Those files are retained only as long as needed to deliver the service and are not used for any other purpose. This section will be expanded with specifics before the service goes live.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers (for website hosting, our backend database, and — for the translation service — cloud storage and processing). They handle data only as needed to operate EasyDub. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove your waitlist entry or account data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as EasyDub evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
